Play as a relentless roll of die.

A nasty forest inhabited by flies is ruining your night of poker.

Roll and squash bugs while shooting down any that try and flee.

The only catch is... Each move only goes as far as you roll the dice!

A big struggle after you have defeated the boss is that you dont get the money you earned that run. please fix that

Please update this game! The issue directly below is still present, but thats not what I'm focused on. I need those other bosses, they sound so good

The game was really good except when i was fighting the boss for a quick second it said you win and now the screen is black. Really good game except for that bug

😊👍

SOOOO much fun!

Honestly, the enemies who move in between the rolls really mess up the game flow. This game is super fun, except for that.

No, I used this open source music from xDeviruchi:

Was the music from Shogun Showdown ?

fun

Im going to strangle the stupid bombs. Why are they moving during my playtime. I kind of get it but its more annoying than anything

Simply amazing. However, after winning, pressing play again spawns you in without any enemies the next run, then if you press exit, its stuck on a black screen then makes you lose any progress from the previous run. Super fun concept though. Very unique twist that pulls from superhot!

i actually love this one its so unique

uhhh
after i defeated the boss it bugged and  now there was like, 1 enemy

i can only play the web version lol

andddd it erased my progress. great

(1 edit)

Hah sorry to hear that. I'll look into it. So after defeating the boss in the web version it erased your progress? Let me know if there are any environmental differences and I'll try to fix the problem if there is any :)

yeah
if i press quit it defaults to a black screen, basically stopping me from making any progress

Nice game, I like the concept idea and how you changed it to make it your own.

nice

its a very neat game... just one problem, when you use the itch.io desktop app it downloads the gamejam version, which adds a bit of confusion. if you could change it so the default is the official release and not the gamejam version it'd be nice

It should be fixed now.

there should be an option to quit to the menu

Awesome, I'm glad you liked it ;).

Will wait for an update!

I'll get one out soon! I got a lot of new stuff added ;

Very similar to 10 minutes till dawn... Almost like an entire copy

(+5)(-1)

Rogue-like/Bullet Hell/Shoot 'em ups are extremely popular right now. It definitely takes a ton of inspiration from 10 minutes till dawn and Vampire survivors. It's just an easy way to make a game fun. In the future I plan on ripping that part of the game apart and focus more on a dungeon crawler aspect. I'd like to make it more like Enter the Gungeon than 10 minutes till dawn eventually.

how do you unlock other characters/weapons?

Right now there aren't any. In a future update(next one or the one after that) I'll add a cost to the character/weapon slots. Once you have enough money and purchase the slot you can use the character.

ahhhh ok. Well just don’t overwork yourself, and have a nice day

delicious

great game, i like a new take on the arena survival genre. Is there a way i could support it's further development?  Also I find myself wishing the timer was more like 10 minutes, instead of 2.

I'm glad you like it. I might start a discord soon and eventually other platforms (steam, youtube, kickstarter?, idk) as well. For now suggestions on new content and changes are extremely helpful and just exposure via social media/friends. You already do a lot just playing it and being here from time to time. ;)

Can't wait for further updates

this game looks like "20 minutes till dawn" game...

which looks like "vampire survivors" as well.

vampire ability op now

There's a ton of op options now. My mentality was to make it playable and add a difficulty option/harder enemies/longer playtime later and make it fun and easy now

great game! Towards the end, I'm pretty sure it get impossible, though. There's so many enemies, you can't possibly avoid all of them!

You can win it actually. I win it everytime now ;)

When you roll through enemies you get an extra turn. The enemies don't move or shoot when you've rolled over some already. I'm going to remove that eventually, but it makes the game winnable for the time being while I add better upgrades.

GASP you can WIN it?

Great game ¿Which engine did you use for this?

I used "Game Maker Studio 2". I believe they've moved to a subscription basis. I wouldn't recommend it if it's subscription. That being said, it gets the job done easy and quick. I may convert it to Godot in the future.

Oh thanks for the replay, yeah the subscription model i don't know if it's worth it, interesting to see a lot of indie devs like Godot, ¿why not Unity? Anyway Keep making great stuff.

Godot is open source and free. Unity is free technically, unless you make over a 100,000 dollars they start requiring payments. Both are great engines and I'm sure they have many pros and cons each.
Unity is also a big company that does sketchy stuff sometimes.

Thanks for the reply after several days of making tutorials  Game maker studio,Unity, Godot, i decided to  start using Unity, (in case anyone read this trying to figure out which engine to use) because it's the most complete  software for both 2D or 3D, Godot is really fun to learn i can understand why is getting so popular, Game maker studio is great if you are young and want something really easy, but if u can understand GML it's easy to also ready Unity C#, about Unity sketchy stuff i think the controversy is kinda misleading, company still great for indie dev.

Anyway, back to the topic awesome work.

incredible!

Glad you liked it ;)
